A seven-inch, gloss white round box with paper shred holds the seashell agenda. The top of the box is covered with inkjet printed canvas cut to fit the box. The canvas is sealed with a clear gloss to protect the inkjet image.

This ten-page agenda is printed on both sides and cut to fit the seashell covers that are hinged with a strip of white leather and hand-stitched to the leather tab that is glued to the seashells.

Save-the-date Announcement

This 13" x 9" box is covered with an inkjet printed canvas. The photo was taken by me for the event using a handblown glass starfish as the centerpiece of the composition. (Attendees were gifted similar starfish.) I painted the starfish with blend of irridescent paints and used heavy gel to give dimension to the starfish where the glass formed "bumps".

The inside of the box has another custom photo as a liner. The announcement is inside the large shell. Each shell was traced onto 1/8" thick balsa wood and then cut to match each shell. The balsa wood backing was hand-painted with acrylics to match the shell. The wood backer and shell are hinged together with a brass hinge, glue and screws.

The backer was drilled to accept seashell-themed brads to hold the pages of the hand-cut oval announcement pages.

Seaside Market Sign

This a-frame chalkboard was custom painted with pastels and chalkboard art pens for the first evening at the event. Attendees walked through a "market" with fresh fruits, vegetables, wines and cheeses choosing  items for the first course of the dinner.
